This marvelous little teapot has an unusual sliding lid that seems to have prompted the designer to apply for a patent (judging by the stamp on the bottom). Whether the patent was awarded, we don't know! But, how charming the whole thing is. Small, but special. There has been a small repair to the spout; it does not detract from the overall function or decor value of this sweet teapot.
