This mint condition set of black vintage coasters is marked JAL, for Japan Airlines, and features a beautiful and quintessentially Japanese illustration of gold and silver images of cranes in flight. They are made of high quality plastic that retains a nice sheen and looks like lacquer. The set of 6 features 3 gold cranes and 3 silver. Though lightweight, the set has an overall feeling of richness. Circa 1960.
